Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next steps? Struggling with college stress, toxic relationships, or big life changes? I can help via telehealth or meet you in the community. If you need an excuse to get outside, go for walks, and maybe even pet a cute dog (with your consent), and you're in the Savage, Burnsville, and Shakopee areas (or willing to commute to one of these areas), I am here! Let’s chat via video for 15 minutes—no pressure. It’s okay if you’re unsure or decide it’s not the right fit—I pride myself on being approachable and human. Therapy should feel as real as life does—messy, funny, and hopefully meaningful!
I primarily support Minnesota-based clients through telehealth therapy, Monday through Friday. I also offer nature-based walk-and-talk therapy at local parks in Savage, Burnsville, and Shakopee areas, weather permitting. You don’t have to live in these areas—just have the means to meet me there. Walk-and-talk therapy can be great for those who feel more at ease processing thoughts while moving rather than sitting face-to-face (though we can stop at picnic tables and benches along the way for breaks, of course! Whatever feels natural and comfortable for you). Being outdoors can promote mindfulness, reduce stress, and encourage a sense of openness.
Additionally, I hope to soon offer animal-assisted therapy with my medium-sized corgi mix, Sparky. Interacting with him will be optional, but his presence could provide comfort, support, and a calming influence. He is currently in training for the Canine Good Citizen certification, and will hopefully be ready to join our walks, if desired, by the Spring/Summer of 2025!
My goal is to make therapy welcoming and uplifting—a space where you can be your true self, with a bit of humor to keep things engaging. I love working with people ready for positive change. As an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC allied therapist, I value advocacy, social justice, and authenticity.
I’m trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), focusing on mindfulness, acceptance, and meaningful action to help clients manage distress and build resilience. My specialties include life transitions, codependency, anxiety, and Borderline Personality Disorder.
A bit more about me: I started my career in Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health (ARMHS) before moving into oncology social work and program management. In 2022, I transitioned to full-time therapy, and I also work as a Mobile Crisis Clinician in the evenings.
Outside of work, I love reading (Pride and Prejudice is my favorite as well as my supernatural fiction!), going to concerts, hiking, and exploring Minnesota’s North Shore. I spend lots of time with my partner and my dog, Sparky!
