Ms. Treviño provides counseling services to children, teens, college students and adults with a variety of challenges. Jayme is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and a solution focused perspectve. She also uses play based principles with her child clients to help them communicate their feelings and learn coping strategies for healthy living. Jayme has experience helping children adjust to divorce, improve low self-esteem and body image difficulties, along with processing bullying issues. In addition with treating youth, Ms. Treviño has a love of treating women’s health issues including depression, anxiety and relationship problems.
Jayme has worked as a 21st Century Scholar Instructor for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation as well as an Outpatient Therapist for Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare and Mulberry Center. Ms. Treviño attended the University of Southern Indiana where she obtained her B.S. in Psychology and Masters Degree in Social Work. She has been licensed in Indiana as a Clinical Social Worker since 2009. Her clients and the challenges that they face inspire Jayme. She appreciates being able to help them gain new skills to improve the quality of their lives
