  • Licensed Professional Counselors

With a down-to-earth, warm, and empathic approach, I work with clients to create a relationship built on trust where clients can feel heard, understood, and truly known. Therapy is about helping you work through your own problems through exploring your past experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is not to fix you, but rather to help you work through your struggles and create a more meaningful life.

My practice focuses on couples counseling and individual counseling. Clients frequently present with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, family conflicts, grief, life transition concerns, and a multitude of other issues. I see many clients who are struggling with fertility issues, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy loss, and the transition to parenthood.

Working with couples is a true joy as I get to help partners better understand each other, understand that all couples fight and that fighting in-and-of-itself does not mean a relationship is doomed, and that it’s ok to ask for what you want in your relationship. I help clients get out of some common relationship traps like mindreading. We expect our partners to know what we want simply because we’ve been together for several years, but then we’re disappointed when they don’t. I explore unhealthy behaviors, coping mechanisms, and work towards meeting your goals.

Developing insight and making significant changes takes hard work, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help you in this process. I truly believe therapy is a gift you give yourself.
