"My life looks completely different than I thought it would, and I don't know what to do with that." "I feel like I should be over it by now, but I'm not." "I'm tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix." "My mind won't stop, and I'm exhausted from trying to keep up with it." Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone. Naming what's underneath the pain can be a relief in itself. From there, we can begin listening to what's in your heart — clarifying what you value and hope for — and working together toward the changes that bring healing, meaning, and joy. I am passionate about working with those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma — including spiritual trauma — grief, and health-related challenges. The relationship we build is the foundation of this work. I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach with CBT, bringing warmth and deep respect for your story. Your goals and your pace guide the process. If this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd welcome the chance to connect. Reach out by calling, texting, or sending an email to get scheduled for your first appointment.

A clinically focused therapist, I specialize in a trauma-informed approach to managing burnout, anxiety, gender dysphoria, and the many complications that come with queer and neurodivergent identities. I often work with adolescent and adult trauma survivors, queer and transgender folks, and anyone else who feels left behind by the white, able-bodied, neurotypical, hetero-centric, and/or cisgender expectations of our society. You may have spent a long time navigating a world that wasn't built with you in mind. Maybe you're wondering whether the things keeping you up at night are real and valid, or if they're just "all in your head." Maybe you've recently received or suspect a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, or OCD, and you're trying to make sense of what that means for your life. Or maybe you're working toward living out your queerest, most authentic self, and you're looking for a space where that journey is celebrated rather than questioned. No matter what brings you here, my work is grounded in transparency and accountability, and in the belief that every human being carries a natural capacity to heal and grow. That belief shapes how I show up for you: as a forward-thinking, inventive partner who takes your experience seriously. Everyone has something to be proud of, a vast and sometimes hidden greatness that is uniquely theirs. I look forward to seeing yours, and helping you build a life you'd never imagined you could live. At the center of my work is the belief that no matter how different your brain, body, or soul might seem to others, or how long you've been living in survival mode, it is possible to build a life you can genuinely thrive in. That belief isn't a slogan; it's the foundation of my work with each and every patient. Resilience, adaptation, and self-acceptance are the goals we work toward together. To get there, I draw from a wide range of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, and attachment theory — selecting and combining tools based on what fits you, not a predetermined framework. My style is strengths-based and highly individualized to your background and goals, supporting you in a judgment-free environment as you build a happiness that is uniquely yours. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own gender transition in 2021. At what was the most fearful and uncertain time of my life, I was fortunate to have guides and mentors who helped me not just understand, but love who I was. They taught me to seek my joy in everything, and believed I was beautiful before I could see it myself. Since then, I've wanted nothing more than to give that same gift to others: authentic care, patience, and the vision to see that each of us, no matter how hurt or how different we might be, is a beautiful thread in the rich tapestry of life. When you sit across from me, that history comes with me, as a reminder of what it means to be seen by someone who truly believes in you, and as a commitment to being that person for you. In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games with my friends, sword-fighting at local LARP clubs, carving and crafting various leather gifts, and living a very gay domestic life with my partners, who love taking me out to KBBQ on the weekends.

You might be a student who looks like you have it together but feels anxious, burned out, or disconnected underneath. Maybe the pressure of classes, relationships, or figuring out who you are is heavier than you expected. Maybe you're navigating a big transition, far from home for the first time, or just noticing that the way you've always coped isn't working anymore. In therapy, we'll slow down, get curious about what's really going on, and build skills that help you feel more like yourself. I draw from a variety of approaches — including body-based techniques, mindfulness, and talk therapy — to tailor our work to what you actually need. You don't have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to show up.

Beginning therapy—or starting with a new therapist—can feel vulnerable and daunting. As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), I create a space that feels welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe to support adults who are ready to improve their well-being and navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My specialties include perinatal mental health and women’s mental health across the lifespan, along with mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, attachment disorders, and more. When working together, you are assured a warm and non-pathologizing approach to care that is grounded in humility and respect for the courage it takes to share your story. I welcome the opportunity to connect for a brief consultation, bringing skill and compassion to your journey no matter where you’re at along the path. I believe each person is the expert in their own life. Therapy is, therefore, a collaborative process, where I listen deeply and work with you to clarify your goals and move toward healing and greater well-being at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we attend not only to areas of pain, but also to your strengths, values, and passions. My approach is warm, person-centered, and strengths-based, drawing flexibly from a range of evidence-based modalities. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In addition, I am trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) and use Gottman techniques in my work with couples. As a clinician with lived experience as a mother and more than ten years of experience as an educator, I bring a deep understanding of family systems, child development, and the realities of parenting. This background allows me to support mothers and families with both compassion and practical insight. When I’m not in the office, I love reading, spending time in nature, taking in all kinds of art, and having adventures with my family.
Spring EOP is here for any step of recovery, whether or not you have been to treatment. We aim to bridge the gap between leaving treatment and the transition back to life. For individuals who need to work, attend school, and have ongoing family obligations, the limited time outpatient therapy provides may not be enough to sufficiently support the investment that’s been made in residential treatment with the continued journey of sobriety. Many clients who have experienced residential treatment find that there is a greater need for clinical support beyond one session weekly; at Spring EOP we are here to support this transition with continued, consistent care. Additionally, we understand not everyone is ready for treatment, a client does not have to be transitioning out of a higher level of care to be an ideal client for us. We are there for every step of the recovery. We offer support to loved ones through CRAFT group as well as therapy for couples, family, and loved ones. We accept ages 15 and up.

“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.” – bell hooks The healing journey can be an intimidating path, and you don’t have to travel it alone. I believe that the role of a therapist is to walk beside you on your healing path. My top priority is to create a safe, accepting space where you can explore your inner landscape and develop skills to navigate your outer world. I am a trauma-informed, intersectional feminist who cares deeply about helping clients reclaim their power and reconnect to their voice. In my person-centered, strengths-based therapeutic environment, I integrate EMDR, expressive writing and arts exercises, trauma-informed mindfulness techniques, and talk therapy to help you reconnect to yourself and your self-worth. I am passionate about working with people who have experienced abusive relationships, sexual assault, grief and loss, chronic illness, and various traumas. I am also a queer person who loves supporting my community members. It can be hard to reach out for help. If you're ready to take the next step, I’m here to support you in your healing. I view therapy as sacred work in which the therapeutic relationship is one of mutual respect and collaboration. I hold a BA in Anthropology from the University of Washington (1997) and a Master’s degree (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University (2010) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. In 2014 I completed a three year advanced training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), a body-centered approach to treating trauma and other stress disorders. I am inspired by Western psychological models and Eastern contemplative techniques, and my practice is enhanced by many years of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, and as a seeker of various healing modalities. A life-long path of self-exploration and global adventure has been my classroom and has led me to ashrams, Native American sweat lodges, monasteries, and innumerable seminars, workshops, and retreats. I believe in finding inner growth and meaning in all life experiences, especially adversity. My therapeutic style is integrative and holistic, creatively employing Somatic, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral techniques with the intention of restoring balance to body, mind and spirit and inner harmony with all of your Parts. I bring deep empathy, insight, warmth, and liberal doses of humor to my clients, specializing in support for those challenged by trauma and anxiety. I am a trauma survivor, and I am particularly dedicated to the healing of childhood sexual abuse. My passion lies in helping you reconnect with your light. Whatever is standing in your way, whether it is shame, trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, we will unearth it. Together, we will heal it. Working as a team, we will be alchemists, transforming pain into personal power and self-love. You deserve to love all parts of yourself. You deserve to feel whole.
