My life motto and priority is "Everyone is deserving of a safe space to heal and cope in the present moment." With that, I welcome ALL to join me in a space where you don't have to worry about judgment, and as your therapist, I am here to actively learn your story and guide you on your journey toward peace.

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Caroline (she/her) and I’m a therapist, avid reader, creative, reality TV enthusiast, and proud dog mom. I specialize in identity work, and provide queer- and trans-affirming care. I also work with folks navigating trauma, addiction, binge eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD & more. My goal is always to cultivate a therapeutic relationship where you can show up fully and honestly, and feel deeply supported (because I am on your team!) We might work well together if you’re looking for someone empathic and laidback, who also challenges you. I invite you to get curious about how your lived experiences impact who you are and how you engage with the world. I also trust your innate wisdom as the expert of your own life. I believe that therapy is political and that we are all deeply impacted by the systems in which we exist. I receive weekly consultation regarding anti-racist and anti-oppressive therapeutic practices, and I seek to maintain a practice in which people of all identities do not simply feel tolerated, but feel deeply understood, accepted, and nurtured.
I worked eight years as an Adult Nurse Practitioner in several settings before expanding my specialty to Psychiatry/Mental Health; it was the best career decision I could have made. I started practicing Psychiatry in a correctional setting, treating adolescents and adults. It was there that I recognized the significance of early mental health promotion, screening, and treatment. For the past four years, I’ve worked in a private practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan. My main role is assessing, diagnosing, education, and medication management, and I occasionally incorporate therapy. I have found that motivational interviewing helps elicit the patient’s goals and determine readiness for change. The individual patient and his/her goals dictate my chosen therapy modality. Brief supportive therapy, Grief therapy, and CBT interventions are the modalities I most often incorporate. All psychiatry providers at Foresight have specialized experience in treating a wide range of common mental health conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, and PTSD. In addition, I specialize in the following areas: academic stress, BIPOC mental health issues, CBT-I, comorbidities/medical complexity, deprescribing, holistic approaches to psychiatry, LGBTQIQ2s+ mental health, personality disorders, somatic symptoms disorders, trauma-informed care, anger management, antisocial personality disorder, autism spectrum disorder, chronic illness, chronic pain, developmental disorders, dissociative disorders, first responders, grief, men’s issues, pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum, racial identity, self harming (non-suicidal self injurious behavior), transgender care, veterans care, women’s issues (PMDD, PCOS, perimenopause, menopause, etc.)
As human beings, we often find ourselves wanting more freedom, or perhaps wanting more purpose in our lives, or craving a sense of inner peace. Other times, we find ourselves caught up in difficult and challenging relationships in our personal lives or at work. Whether your life feels overwhelming or underwhelming, I believe that care and courage, along with some healthy curiosity can go a long way in helping you locate new possibilities and finding solutions that work for you. My process is not a one-size-fits-all affair. Indeed, the work we do together is unique to each and every individual I encounter and always begins with accepting you just as you are. Beginning the self-exploration of therapy is an act of courage. I respect your bravery by always providing a calm, warm, and nonjudgmental space to discuss and process your concerns. Together, we’ll collaborate in clarifying your goals, identifying effective strategies, and finding a path that will work for you.

Hello! Act2Change Therapy & Wellness Center is an inclusive and affirming therapy and coaching practice serving clients throughout the state of Georgia. We are currently only offering services via secure Telehealth due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our college-age clients find Telehealth to be particularly convenient, given their busy schedules. Our practice is comprised of three clinicians that offer support on a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to: anxiety & stress, burnout, cultural & systemic oppression, depression, emotional disturbance, family conflict, gender affirming care, identity issues, perfectionism, personal growth, multi-partner relationships, self-esteem, work/life + school/life harmony, traumatic experiences, and other transitional life issues. Our therapists identify as Millennials and Gen Z, which means we can relate to you and your experiences, first hand. We work from a collaborative and solution focused approach to help you create a plan that is forward-thinking and achievable. We are living through unprecedented times and life feels harder and heavier than ever. Please don't struggle alone. We are here to help and look forward to connecting with you.
I have experience working with adults and elderly who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders, along with major life transitions and end-of-life decisions. My work with adolescents includes depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, school behavior concerns, and sexual identity. We will talk about negative thoughts and behaviors & learn techniques to alleviate the symptoms you are experiencing using play-, talk-, and/or art- therapy techniques. We will work together to achieve self-acceptance. I will provide a judgment free zone, with a feeling of safety, comfort, and an open mind. I often had difficulty expressing my feelings & my father taught me how to think critically, love unconditionally, never judge, and how to use other forms of self-expression, like art and writing. I was introduced to AA meetings & found comfort & safety to express my thoughts with my father’s life lessons & knew this was my path. I earned my BS in Psychology at Florida State University in 2015 and MS in Counseling with a concentration in mental health at NOVA Southeastern University in 2019. I am Trilingual (English/Spanish/French). I enjoy practicing self care through painting, dancing, singing, travelling, and binge watching TV shows with my husband & fur-baby, Maddy.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a virtual practice in NY and GA. I offer psychotherapy for adults navigating life transitions and struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, and shame. I also specialize in helping people make peace with their bodies and heal their relationships with food and exercise. I see therapy as a deeply rewarding experience where you can cultivate self compassion, self acceptance, and flexibility. Life throws curve balls. You don't have to take them on alone. I believe in creating a safe environment to help you manage everything you are carrying. In addition to private practice, I have experience working in community behavioral health for 7 years and in a brief intervention virtual program for 3 years, providing therapy to adolescents and adults. I have worked with clients with various diagnoses and those seeking assistance in self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, parenting, and grief and loss, among others. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I believe in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients to work together to achieve established goals in a safe and trusting environment. It takes courage to ask for help and seeking support in therapy is the first step in making a positive change. Throughout every session, I work to help you develop and utilize coping mechanisms to make progress towards your goals. I look forward to working with you!
I specialize in working with: Black men looking to heal and grow; survivors of sexual violence or childhood sexual trauma; and LGBTQ+ individuals. I take on a person-centered approach to therapy. I primarily utilize Narrative Therapy during my sessions with individuals and couples. For couples who tend to have high conflict, I prefer to utilize Collaborative Couples Therapy to assist them in improving their communication with each other, while also working through their conflicts. Currently, I am a pre-licensed therapy working towards full licensure and under the supervision of Sharita Everett. I am able to see insurance clients via contracted sites.
