I was raised in a commune-style farm setting in rural Pennsylvania, and earned my BA from Middlebury College and then my MA in counseling psychology from Lesley College. I am currently pursuing her certificate in Modern Psychoanalysis at the Academy for Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ. I am a mother of three and a longtime practitioner of yoga, meditation, and Jin Shin Jyutsu (Japanese acupressure). These practices inform my interest in the well-being of the whole person. I provide a safe and comfortable space where you can explore the parts of your life that you value and also the parts you may want to change. My approach is to cultivate a sense of curiosity and kindness while supporting you in saying whatever is on your mind. As we put our thoughts and feelings into words, we tend to grow more comfortable in ourselves, even in the midst of discomfort. We may find ourselves in more positive relationships at home, at school, and at work. We may find more clarity about how we want to live our lives. Whether in person or online, I see the therapeutic process as a catalyst for reflection, exploration, self-understanding, and personal growth. Together, we will work to understand the richness of who you are and resolve whatever is getting in the way of achieving your personal and professional goals.
Being in college or graduate school often means navigating big transitions, shifting relationships, academic pressure, identity exploration, and uncertainty about the future. You may look like you’re holding it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your own capacity to heal and grow. The coping strategies that helped you survive earlier seasons of life may no longer be serving you. In our work together, we’ll build on your existing strengths while developing new skills that support resilience, emotional regulation, and authentic self-trust. I have experience working in hospitals, schools, and in a university setting, and I specialize in working with survivors of trauma. My trauma-informed approach prioritizes safety and nervous system regulation first. We focus on building your ability to feel grounded and present before engaging in deeper trauma processing, and healing does not require you to relive or recount everything before you’re ready. Starting therapy, especially with a new provider, can feel vulnerable. I aim to create a space that feels steady, collaborative, and respectful of your pace. If you’re considering beginning therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I welcome the opportunity to talk and see if we’re a good fit. I provide teletherapy to clients 18+ across Colorado, and in person sessions in Longmont, CO. Due to a conflict of interest, I am unable to work with current students of the University of Colorado Boulder. Reach out by text, call, or message to schedule a consultation.

Together, we'll create a non-judgmental, authentic space where you feel free to be yourself. I use Mindfulness within this approach to help you rediscover who you are and what you want in life, with a direct and compassionate style tailored to your unique needs. My path to becoming a therapist began with a psychology course that piqued my interest in understanding people on a deeper level. Healing is deeply personal, and having the right support can make all the difference. As a licensed therapist with three years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping people across the lifespan navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and the emotional weight that can accumulate over time. Whether you're working through a painful experience, building more confidence in yourself, or simply looking for steadier ground, you'll find a space here that is empathetic, honest, and completely free of judgment. Therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection grounded in compassion and respect, and that's exactly what you can expect with me. My goal is to be a steady, supportive presence you feel genuinely comfortable with as you work toward healing, confidence, and personal growth that feel meaningful and lasting. Together, we'll create a supportive, down-to-earth space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged. My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible, ensuring your healing environment is always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experience. Drawing on evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, we'll build healthy coping skills, process difficult experiences, and support your overall emotional well-being to create positive change. Trauma-informed care is central to how I work, and empowering you throughout your healing journey is something I am genuinely passionate about. You set the direction; I'll help you find the way forward. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experience in therapy and the profound impact of having people truly in my corner during some of the most difficult seasons of my life. Those relationships stayed with me, and they continue to shape how I show up for every person I work with. This foundation deepened my commitment to care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and centered on each person’s experience. In every session, I bring empathy, honesty, and genuine respect for the process, with the intention of creating a space where you feel safe enough to be real, supported as you are, and encouraged in your own healing. Outside of the therapy room, I find restoration in nature, whether that's going for walks, hiking, biking, or simply being outdoors to unplug and reset. Traveling and exploring new places brings me a lot of joy, as does unhurried time with family and friends. When I'm winding down at the end of the day, you'll likely find me working on a puzzle while listening to a podcast, a simple combination that helps me slow down and recharge.
I believe in a body centered, mindful approach that combines evidenced based nutrition practices, resulting in an integrative and holistic approach to better nutrition, improved energy, increased mental clarity and optimal health. I enjoy helping clients develop strategies to meet their nutrition and health goals by finding foods that fit for each individual person. I do this, most importantly, by listening to their stories and experiences, honoring their unique bodies and coming up with nutrition protocols that address issues related to different disease states, food choices, supplementation and lifestyle interventions. I work often with the following conditions: eating disorders, gut health, chronic conditions, weight issues, nutrient deficiencies, food sensitivities/allergies, cardiovascular conditions, mental health and nutrition, immune related conditions and overall nutrition challanges.

My practice supports individuals, families, and systems in working through trauma, substance use, identity development, and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with young adults, LGBTQIA+ clients, and those navigating motivation difficulties, emotional neglect, complex trauma or life transitions. With a grounded, creative, and often humorous approach, I integrate Brainspotting, contemplative psychotherapy, and sex therapy (AASECT-certified), along with elements of DBT, play therapy, and mindfulness-based relapse prevention. I also help clients with integration of spiritual experiences and psychedelic work. Whether in individual or family work, I aim to help clients cultivate emotional autonomy, find congruence between values and action, and build meaningful connections within themselves and their communities.
This transitional phase can be both exciting and overwhelming for young adults as they navigate the intricacies of gaining independence, making career choices, forging relationships, and finding their rightful place in the world. Amidst these challenges, many also face the complexities of managing anxiety, coping with depression, adjusting to the realities of ‘adulting,’ resolving roommate issues, and confronting substance use concerns. I provide a compassionate and supportive environment, offering practical guidance to help young adults navigate these multifaceted changes. My approach is designed to help overcome these obstacles, address emotional and mental health challenges, and foster a deep sense of purpose and direction.
