Would you like a safe place to talk, another perspective to help you find hope and direction? I see all gender individual clients 18 years and older Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 - 7:00. Sessions can be in person or virtual. I'm on most insurance panels, but also take self pay. Starting 6/26, I'm practicing ECO Therapy. Clients and I will be walking in Nature and talking for In Person sessions. Also, training in Beyond Quantum Healing is almost complete. Excited. My practice is Client Centered and Solution Focused. I am particularly interested in working with life transitions, end of life issues, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. My therapy emphasizes mind-body skills and behavioral modifications to address mood and personality disorders, sadness, and stage of life challenges. I believe wellness includes healing the mind, emotions, body and spirit. We can work together in a professional, integrative, and comprehensive way. For decades, I have helped people like you forge a clear path to inner peace.

I take a client-centered and individualized approach to therapy. Tailoring our work to your needs, goals, and what feels most helpful to you. My therapeutic approach draws primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I particularly value helping clients develop a more flexible relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, better understand their emotional experiences and relationships, reduce avoidance, and take meaningful steps toward a life that is more aligned with their values. I particularly enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, relationship and interpersonal concerns, identity exploration, and eating-related concerns. I strive to approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment, recognizing that meaningful change often involves both accepting where you are and taking intentional steps toward where you want to be.

I’m Ellen Burt Baker, LPC, and I’ve been honored to walk alongside individuals on their healing journeys for over 25 years. My practice offers a heart-centered, safe, and compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and grow exactly as you are. My approach to therapy is heart-centered, intuitive, and grounded in both clinical skill and body-brain healing modalities. I integrate powerful techniques such as Brainspotting, EMDR, EFT/Tapping, Hypnotherapy, and IADC® to support deep transformation. When requested, I also incorporate heart-centered practices to support your process holistically. I work with a variety of clients - those healing from trauma, managing anxiety or depression, navigating life decisions or transitions, or exploring their spiritual path. Many of my clients are reconnecting with their own intuition and inner wisdom, and I consider it a privilege to support that journey. I specialize in working with people who have already done some therapeutic work and are ready to go deeper—to move through the blocks and barriers that may still be holding them back. I meet each client exactly where they are. Our work together is a true partnership. I offer a space that is affirming and always welcoming. I bring warmth, humor, and a supportive presence into every session, helping clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My name is Amanda Schneider and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and then obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. I am currently under supervision, supervised by Adina Tucker LCSW, while I work to obtain my LCSW. Life transitions can be challenging whether you’re adjusting to a new phase, managing anxiety, moving through grief, facing relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck. I work with adults and teenagers (13+) who are navigating these complexities, offering a grounded space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is unique to each person and together, we will explore what works best for you. In a safe space, we will explore your strengths, goals, and experiences in order to find healing and growth. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered on helping you reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll focus on building self-esteem, practicing self-compassion, and recognizing your own strengths especially in moments when those things feel hard to access. With a background in hospice care, I have experience working with individuals and families navigating chronic illness, death, and the grief that comes with those experiences. I’ve also worked with older adults navigating anxiety, depression, isolation, and aging related issues. These experiences shaped the way I show up as a therapist and I strive to offer a space where you feel safe to be yourself and talk through your true thoughts and feelings. Starting therapy isn’t always easy, and it’s okay to feel unsure about where to begin. I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, reconnect with a sense of purpose, and build skills that support you long after our work together.
